My impression of such kind of case.

The conflict between traditional right holders and internet companies led stakeholders to seek new business model for their benefits by collaboration. Even in Japan, big TV companies, TBS and TV Asahi, formed a business partnership with You Tube partly because of the introduction of contents ID system *1 that You Tube provided. Stakeholders may bridge the gap further between them with more advanced technology. However, I feel authors may be left behind. How do creators respond if their works are modified without permission such as in the form of parody after they assigned the rights. It is very difficult for system to identify illegal parody although it depends on the degree or way of modification. Also, right holders do not help because they may think modification is OK as long as they can earn money. You Tube provides users with more opportunities to use other's works, so moral right of an author may need to be considered, or new technologies are required, so that all stakeholders are fair.

*1 This system identifies illegal contents and provide right holders with three options, block, track, and monetize. The option "monetize" enable the holders to receive shares.
